Chapman Basketball Academy PHILOSOPHY
Every child has unlimited potential. Each athlete is unique, and our mission is to help them grow both on and off the court through the game of basketball. Our training sessions provide hands-on instruction led by experienced coaches and high-level professional players who are passionate about teaching the game. Every session is built around detailed, purposeful instruction designed to develop sound fundamentals, confidence, basketball IQ, and a strong work ethic. While we are committed to helping every athlete become a better basketball player, our greatest goal is to help them become better people. Through discipline, accountability, teamwork, and perseverance, we strive to build character that extends far beyond the game.
Chapman Basketball Academy MISSION
At Chapman Basketball Academy, our mission is to develop young individuals not only as athletes, but also as students and people through a positive, structured, and challenging environment.
Our athletes have the unique opportunity to be coached and mentored by experienced coaches and high-level professional basketball players who are committed to their growth. We go beyond teaching basketball skills by emphasizing basketball IQ, decision-making, leadership, discipline, and the habits necessary for long-term success.
Through purposeful practices, skill development sessions, and clinics, we provide a hands-on approach that helps every player maximize their potential. Every session is designed to build confidence, improve fundamentals, develop a deeper understanding of the game, and foster a lifelong love for basketball. At CBA, we believe the true measure of a successful season is not simply wins and losses. Success is reflected in the growth of each athlete—their attitude, work ethic, character, confidence, and overall development as both a player and a person.

Chapman Basketball Academy & MULTISPORT ATHLETES
At Chapman Basketball Academy, we understand and encourage our athletes to participate in multiple sports throughout the year. We believe that competing in different sports helps reduce the risk of physical and emotional burnout while allowing young athletes to develop a wider range of athletic skills, build new relationships, and experience different coaching styles and team roles.
Our goal is for every athlete to enjoy the many benefits that youth sports have to offer while continuing to grow as both a player and a person.
We simply ask that families maintain open and honest communication with our coaches throughout the season. Transparency regarding schedules, conflicts, and commitments allows us to best support each athlete while creating a positive experience for everyone involved.
